  W. David Marx is Chief Editor of MEKAS. He is a graduate of Harvard University (B.A., East Asian Studies, 2001) where he wrote an award-winning thesis on the legendary Japanese street-wear brand A Bathing Ape. He also holds a M.A. in Marketing and Consumer Behavior from Keio University. In the past, Marx was an editor of Tokion Magazine and has provided freelance writing on Japanese culture, fashion, and music for such American culture and fashion magazines as GQ, Harper's Magazine, and NYLON.
