MEKAS. On Hiatus, Indefinitely

We regret informing you that MEKAS. will be “on hiatus” indefinitely. There will be no more updates on the site, the blog, or the Twitter feed until further notice. The site, however, will remain up for public viewing.

Writing and editing the site was a lot of fun for the whole MEKAS., and we greatly appreciated your readership over the last year.

For the time being, my own writing on Japanese fashion will be featured on The Business of Fashion and in other publications.

    That’s such a shame… Mekas was on top of the fashion trends and we will miss your articles. I deeply regret this decision and I hope you will be back soon. Guess I’ll start to follow closely your writing on The Business of Fashion.

    So much has been invested here. There isn’t a way for it to continue? Anyway, I hope it is because people are moving on to bigger and better things.

    I just found this site 30 minutes ago, bookmarked it 15 minutes ago and now find that it is in indefinite hiatus 2 minutes ago. So unfortunate as the perspective, depth of reporting and the elegance of the layout seem of such an unusually high quality. I’ve missed the boat.
